I’ve been in NYC all of 48 hours and I’m exhausted to say the least.

Moving in was a cinch. My new spot is “quaint,” but its in the amazing Brooklyn Heights neighborhood. Its quiet here, cleaner than most areas, and there is SO MUCH within walking distance. I paid a pretty penny to move here and it was worth every red cent. Being in the Big Apple is cool, but I do miss the hospitality of the South.

Music, family, my girls, the FOOD. I miss it.

I came here with a mission: to land a gig I love and make a decent amount of cash doing it. This is the land of concrete opportunity and this Belle is gonna make something shake in this city of dreams.

I’ll be documenting my life in Brooklyn over this account until my site is up and running. I’m pretty sure there will be much to tell.
